Glamerforge Wizard

A Glamerforge wizard has the following class features.

Class Skills

A Glamerforge wizard gains all Perform skills as additional class skills.

Dramatic Casting (Su)

This ability functions as the bardic performance class feature using the Glamerforge wizard’s class level as his bard level, except the wizard can only use the countersong, distraction, 3 and fascinate performance types. He can activate a performance as a swift action, but can only activate countersong if he has cast a spell with a verbal component this turn. He can only activate distraction if he has cast a spell with a somatic component this turn, and can only activate fascinate if he has cast a spell with both verbal and somatic components this turn. The save DC of a Glamerforge wizard’s fascinate performance is equal to 10 + 1/2 the Glamerforge wizard’s class level + the Glamerforge wizard’s Intelligence modifier.

A Glamerforge wizard may only activate a single performance per turn. A Glamerforge wizard can use this ability a number of rounds per day equal to his wizard level + his Intelligence modifier (minimum 1).

Dramatic casting counts as the bardic performance class ability for the purpose of feats, which require or modify bardic performance, such as Lingering Performance. Dramatic casting replaces arcane school.

Dramatic Spell (Su)

Whenever a Glamerforge wizard uses his dramatic casting ability to start a distraction performance; he also produces the effects of a prestidigitation spell as if he had cast that spell.

Starting at 8th level, he may instead expend one additional round of dramatic casting to produce the effects of a dancing lights or flare spell. Starting at 16th level, he may instead expend three additional rounds of dramatic casting to produce the effects of a color spray or daze monster spell. At 20th level, he may instead spend five additional rounds of dramatic casting to produce the effects of a glitterdust or hypnotic pattern spell. The save DC of any spell effect produced in this manner is equal to 10 + 1/2 the Glamerforge wizard’s level + the Glamerforge wizard’s Intelligence modifier.

Scrollwork

Whenever a Glamerforge wizard uses the Scribe Scroll feat to create a scroll with a caster level no greater than his wizard level, he may fuse that scroll with an inanimate object in his possession. This object must be no smaller than the fused scroll, and cannot currently be fused to another scroll. Once the object and the scroll are fused, they remain fused until the scroll is expended. Writing on the fused scroll is displayed as colorful runes on the surface of the fused object. Anyone holding the fused object also counts as holding the fused scroll, and can read the writing on the fused scroll any time they are able to see the surface of the fused object.

Spellbook

Most Glamerforge wizards keep spellbooks that resemble sketchbooks or other pieces of art. Even though their pages may be filled with abstract visual artwork depicting spells, or flowing poetry describing spells in grandiose language, any wizard or magus can understand the contents of the spellbook using a read magic spell. An alchemist still does not need to decipher the artwork before copying spells.
